(4) cooperative institutions, bank, economic empowerment,   Black financial institutions, credit unions, lending circles, investment   clubs, build capital, microloans for small businesses, fintech,   Chime/Bancorp, Greenwood, loan to individuals too, money circulating, grow   wealth to invest in worthwhile projects in our community


ACCESS

symbolic resistance, protesting white inhumanity is only   form of resistance, encourage looking in your neighborhood and see what's   missing, goods and services that are only available externally, seek out   these 10 institutions in your neighborhood, genealogy center, let's start   something with others, support if found, cooperative owned, just not   entertainment all the time, family friendly places, halls, theatres,   independently written plays that reflect our reality, what's missing what   would you like to see in your neighborhood, seed money, addiction to white   people's goods, billions spent to think we won't be able to live w/o their   product, commercial propaganda, list and tell people about our institutions   that provide quality goods and services, proprietors must provide excellent   service rather than stinky attitude, charged with creating the things we   need, nature of pan-Africanists and nationalists, build self-reliance,   self-sufficiency, self-determination, won't come from those who despise our   very presence, create the culture that talks about these things


POWER (7)

legal governmental structure, constitution, rules,   regulations, avoid chaos, on one page, system of accountability, law, nation   builders, something that will outlive me, autonomous systems that we build,   govern, protect and we intend to educate, heal and feed our people

(7) Black research and policy think tanks, activism comes   from think tanks, neighborhood grievances, sharing ideas about what we need,   mobility, better education, issues, Project 2025 is playbook guide for   current administration was created by a think tank called Heritage Foundation   - people who get together and think about ways to accomplish things - how to   keep white people on top, many with no experience in activism or politics,  we should try this, mayors, business leaders, SCOTUS currying favors from   President, never in the street, data, analysis, policy recommendations   grounded in our needs and interests, legislation, ideas

(5) homeless, private equity is trying to buy whole   projects, have to have somewhere to live, how do we house ourselves, housing   developments, tracts of land, residential buildings, gym, pool, places to   socialize, have events, Black housing cooperatives, land trusts, fight   gentrification and displacement, community owned housing to charge   reasonable, affordable rents

 

STATE ENFORCED (3)(6)

(3) militia, Black owned and controlled security forces,   defense units, gun clubs, formations and organizations protection from state   sanctioned violence, internal harm, like Black Panther patrol parties,   domestic violence, recruit, incentives, move differently as a nation,   abductions, organ harvesting, weird deaths, secure ourselves literally and   metaphorically

GenZ - reach them and teach them, short books with   pictures that capture attention in their language, Pan-African nationalist,   religious, holidays, customs, (10) see ourselves as connected or potential   nation, talk about it in homes, young people will realize there are lots of   things I can do with my life

communication system, talk about them, visualize them, on   our minds all the time, creates energy to build/invest/support ones that   exist and create new ones (9) Black media networks and content creators,   media hubs, teach people things they need to know to apply to make their   lives, people, community better, more independent, Black funded, conceived,   implemented networks that can't be shutdown, cybersecurity, digital   libraries, talk, dream, think, be about, build them up so we can get news we   believe in that's credible, can trust them, verified information and credible   sources, cartoons, web series, large networks and daily 24 hour programming,   all types including kids programming,

SPORTS/ENTERTAINMENT

OK, but all of us don't need to be entertainers


IT/GAMING (8)

(8) can't do many things without the internet,   disadvantage, Black tech and innovation centers, hubs, incubators, STEM, AI,   agents to simplify life, basics, leverage in our interest, paranoid and   scared of new but cautious, job loss prediction, education/business will look   different, [use rather that replace humans] run to it, use it and bend it to   our issues and interests, training young people and adults, digital   sovereignty, Black Girls Codes, B1 initiative, Sankofapedia, young people   will try and master it, take over this space like sports

 

FOOD/HEALTHCARE (2)(1)

(1) laboratories, doctors, independent Black health   clinics and holistic wellness centers, hospitals, better experiences, mental   health, reproductive health, trauma, chronic illnesses, mutual aid health   collectives, (2) Black cooperative grocery stores and good hubs, healthy   restaurants, affordable from all parts of the world especially the continent   (coffee, Kenya, Ethiopia), freedom farmers market, Det Black food security   network


LITERACY

don't narrow scope of liberation work to just boots on   the group, 90% of military are noncombat, liberation theoretician, is it   pushing us forward or setting u back, too much time and energy goes to   protest, has to be about more than just fighting white folk, building   capacity - creating structures, values, ideas, theories, institutions (when   we win or achieve liberation), self-determination, sovereignty, think beyond   resistance and protest, resistance occupies more than just protest, nation   building, fighting and building for a nation, Schaumberg, bibliophile,   archives, schools, don't oversaturate in one area and neglect other areas


HISTORY (10)

(10) Black cultural and historical preservation   institutions, Apollo theatre, museums, libraries, archives, art   spaces/galleries, preserves traditions/story, oral history, can't be   eliminated or destroyed, genealogy
